Hello – welcome to our website! In case you were wondering, the word “Lusofona” means Portuguese speaking. We thought that an apt adjective to describe our ministry as we’ve lived and served in Portuguese speaking countries since 2004.
After working and ministering in northern Mozambique for almost 10 years we moved to Portugal in July of 2014 to begin a new church planting ministry in Alcabideche, a suburb of Lisbon.
Thanks for taking an interest in us and our ministry! Feel free to peruse our website, subscribe to our blog page or drop us an e-mail.
Blessings!
Robin & Dan
Wonderful news! Mike and I are happy to hear of your responsible was to transition and leave the Mozambique mission with strong leadership and help along the way. May God bless and guide you during this next year of finishing up and beginning again. You must be excited and a bit sad as well.

Hi Mr Dan, I don’t know if you still remember me, but I was one of your student back in Indonesia in 1998. My name is Andika (does that ring a bell to you?). I still remember the moment you taught us English when we were first graders and looking back at these memories, I am grateful to find you on the internet again. What a nice family photo you have there! May God bless you and your family in all the things that you do.. Cheers 🙂
good to hear from you all you are in our prayers
Hi I just received your email from our mission team leader at Georgetown Christian church about 30 days prayer. I just got the email yesterday 7/13 and started praying for your harvest. If you have a specific time early morning or late evening time slot that you wold like me to fill please email me. I also teach elementary kids to 4th grade Sunday school. We learn about different missionaries. We are learning about Mozambique. So next month if you can send and share some of your experiences and about your new country I would be extremely grateful. Also we would like to send a care package to lift you up, if you have a needs please let me know. I had several times thought about doing what your family is doing but was not strong in my faith at the time and serve God in other ways. After a week at Christian camp and seeing so many kids praising God and satan come in and attach and try to get us down, well I can imagine you have a lot to deal with. Anyway I will have my children pray for you every Sunday morning around 1045am eastern time. Thanks and God bless. Vicki
