Reflections on our Furlough

We have been on furlough for 5 1/2 weeks. We have one week left. We have driven over 5,000 miles and still have several church visits this last week. We have really enjoyed out time here. Our meetings with supporters have been a blessing to us. God has shown us time and time again that this was the right time to be here.

In the middle of this whirlwind trip Dan spent 10 days in Brazil with our teammates, Roberto Fife and Petterson Carneiro. The purpose of this trip was to look into small group/cell group churches and available material. We learned a lot and discovered ways to improve what we are doing in Alcabideche and São Marcos.

Even with tons of driving and multiple meetings throughout the weeks God has provided times of relaxation with family and friends. We have fit in meals, coffees and conversations that have truly blessed us.

This has been a wonderfully busy, full and blessed 5 1/2 weeks. Please pray our final weeks goes well and our flights back to Portugal are smooth and uneventful.
